About Me

Jade Hizon is currently a 4th-year student at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, the Philippines taking Bachelor of Secondary Education major in General Science.

Jade is passionate for Education and the future. That is why he keeps on improving himself through participating in different competitions that will enhance his skills. In 2018, he was one of the representatives of the Philippines in the ASEAN Data Science Competition (ADSE) organized by ASEAN Foundation and SAP which was held in Singapore. Competing with the 9 ASEAN member states, his project entitled "Recalibrating Educational Gears Through Entrepreneurship Education"  which tackles on how to transform tertiary graduates from "job-seekers" to "job-creators" in order to solve the perennial problem of unemployment in the ASEAN region, won 1st runner-up in that said competition.

Jade is hoping to expose more to the international arena after the ADSE 2018 and his participation to the 7th Batch of SEA TEACHER Project.
